What to Expect

Your adventure starts with pickup in San Juan before heading toward the rainforest region. Once we arrive, your guide will lead the group on a short hike through natural terrain to reach the river area.

At the river, you’ll have time to enjoy the natural waterslides, swim in fresh mountain water, try the rope swing, and experience optional cliff jumps depending on conditions and your comfort level.

The tour is guided from start to finish, so you don’t have to figure out the route, parking, or logistics on your own.

Fitness Level

This is an active outdoor experience. Guests should be able to walk on uneven, muddy, wet, and rocky terrain. You do not need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable hiking, swimming, and moving through natural river areas.

This tour is not recommended for guests with serious knee, back, ankle, mobility, heart, or medical conditions. It is also not recommended for pregnant travelers.

Do not bring expensive jewelry, designer shoes, or anything you do not want to get wet.

Important Notes

All river activities depend on weather and water conditions. Safety comes first. If the river conditions are unsafe due to heavy rain, flash flood risk, or dangerous water levels, the itinerary may be adjusted.

Activities such as cliff jumping and rope swinging are optional. No guest is forced to do anything they are not comfortable doing.

The rainforest is a natural environment. Expect mud, slippery rocks, wet trails, insects, changing weather, and physical activity.
