DESCRIPCIÓN:
El Yunque Waterslides & Overnight Ranch Camping Adventure
Spend the night on a private 201-acre ranch estate in Puerto Rico, then wake up early for a guided El Yunque rainforest river adventure with natural waterslides, freshwater pools, rope swing areas, and optional cliff jumps.
This is not a regular hotel stay. This is a real outdoor camping experience combined with one of Puerto Rico’s most exciting rainforest adventures. Guests will camp overnight at Hacienda La Hueya, a peaceful countryside property with open land, trails, farm animals, friendly dogs and cats, free-roaming horses, cows, pigs, ducks, geese, and a true rural Puerto Rico atmosphere.
The next morning, your guide will take the group to the El Yunque rainforest region for our signature waterslide and river adventure.
Experience Overview
This experience is split into two parts:
Day 1: Arrive at Hacienda La Hueya, explore the property, set up camp, enjoy the campfire, relax, eat, and sleep under the stars.
Day 2: Wake up early and head to the El Yunque rainforest region for a guided river adventure with hiking, swimming, natural rock waterslides, rope swing areas, and optional cliff jumps depending on weather and river conditions.
Day 1: Arrival at Hacienda La Hueya
Guests arrive at 5:00 PM at Hacienda La Hueya using the Google Maps location sent before the tour.
The property is a private 201-acre ranch estate with open farmland, trails, animals, and peaceful countryside scenery. Guests can walk around, explore the area, enjoy the animals, take photos, and settle into the campsite before nightfall.
Camping materials will be provided on-site. Guests will set up their own tents with assistance from the guide when needed. This is part of the experience — simple, hands-on, and outdoors.
Camping Setup
We provide the basic camping setup, including:
Tents
Sleeping mats or sleeping bags
Camping hammocks when available
Campsite area
Campfire assistance
Guide support during setup
Guests are expected to participate in setting up their camping space. The guide can assist, but this is not a luxury glamping setup where everything is fully prepared before arrival. Guests can also bring their own camping materials.
This is a real camping experience.
Campfire, Food & Drinks
Guests may enjoy the campfire area in the evening. Our team can help with the campfire setup when conditions allow.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, meats, snacks, and drinks. If you want to grill or cook simple camp-style food, you may bring what you need.
Food and drinks are not included unless stated otherwise for a specific booking or private arrangement.
Guests should bring anything they personally want to eat or drink during the camping portion.
Day 2: El Yunque Waterslides & River Adventure
The next morning, the group leaves the hacienda around 7:00 AM and heads toward the El Yunque rainforest region.
The guided hike usually starts around 8:00 AM.
During the rainforest river adventure, guests can enjoy:
Hiking through natural rainforest terrain
Swimming in freshwater river pools
Natural rock waterslides
Rope swing areas
Optional cliff jumps depending on conditions
Local guide support
Beautiful rainforest scenery
Photos and videos when possible
All river activities are optional. Guests are never forced to jump, swing, slide, or do anything they are not comfortable doing.
The river adventure usually finishes around 12:00 PM.
After the tour, guests may leave in their own vehicle or return with transportation if they requested transportation in advance.

Adventurous couples

Why Book This Experience
Most El Yunque tours only last a few hours. This experience gives you more.
You get the overnight countryside ranch experience, the campfire, the animals, the quiet rural atmosphere, and then a full rainforest river adventure the next morning.
It is one of the most unique ways to experience Puerto Rico: sleep under the stars, wake up early, and head straight into the rainforest for waterslides, swimming, rope swings, and adventure.
