1. GENERAL TERMS
By booking a tour, transportation service, or experience with Oasis Island Adventures LLC, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. All participants are responsible for reading them before making a reservation. Failure to read this document does not exempt you from the policies.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
Our tours involve outdoor activities such as hiking, river crossings, swimming, natural water slides, cliff jumping, rope swings, boat transportation, and exposure to natural terrain.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
• Outdoor activities carry inherent risks including slipping, falling, impact with surfaces, drowning, dehydration, weather changes, wildlife, and transportation hazards.
• You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
• You are physically capable of completing the activity you booked.
• Oasis Island Adventures LLC is not responsible for injuries or accidents resulting from negligence, unsafe behavior, or failure to follow guide instructions.
3. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Participants must:
• Be in good physical condition
• Disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation
• Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Be comfortable around water and uneven/slippery terrain
• Accept that strenuous activity is part of these experiences
Pregnant guests and individuals with heart, back, mobility, or respiratory conditions should not participate.
4. AGE REQUIREMENTS
• El Yunque Day Tour: Ages 6+
• El Yunque Night Tour: Ages 10+
• Private/Family Tours: All ages with guardian
• Boat Tours (Icacos/Gilligan’s): All ages with life jackets
All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
5. MEETING POINTS AND TRANSPORTATION
• Guests booking “No Transportation” must arrive on time at the meeting point.
• Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may result in missing the tour with no refund.
• If following the guide in convoy, guests must drive responsibly and follow instructions.
• Transportation add-ons must be arranged 24 hours in advance and paid directly to the driver/guide.
6. WEATHER AND SAFETY
Tours operate rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe (flooding, lightning, river surge, severe storms). Oasis Island Adventures may:
• Modify the route
• Delay the start
• Cancel or reschedule the tour
• Deny participation to any guest acting recklessly
Guide decisions are final.
7. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RESCHEDULING
Guest Cancellations
• Less than 24 hours / No-shows → No refund
Third-party platforms (Airbnb, Viator, GetYourGuide) have their own policies that override ours.
Company Cancellations
If the company cancels for weather or operational reasons, guests may receive:
• A free reschedule, or
• A full refund (except for bookings controlled by third-party platforms)
8. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Oasis Island Adventures LLC is not responsible for:
• Lost, damaged, or water-damaged items
• Electronics exposed to water
• Vehicle damage at meeting points or trailheads
Guests are encouraged to bring waterproof protection for valuables.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
By participating, you grant permission for Oasis Island Adventures LLC to:
• Capture photos/videos during tours
• Use media for marketing or promotional purposes
If you do not want to appear in media, notify your guide before the tour starts.
10. BEHAVIOR & CONDUCT
We reserve the right to remove or deny service to any participant who:
• Acts dangerously
• Ignores guide instructions
• Harasses others
• Damages natural areas
• Is under the influence of drugs/alcohol
No refund will be issued in these cases.
11. PAYMENTS
Accepted payment methods include:
• Cash
• Venmo
• Cash App
• Zelle
• PayPal
• Credit/debit cards
Transportation fees are paid directly to the assigned driver/guide.
12. LIABILITY RELEASE
By booking, you agree that Oasis Island Adventures LLC is not liable for:
• Injuries caused by natural terrain
• Accidents resulting from participant negligence
• Medical emergencies or pre-existing conditions
• Loss or damage to personal property
You accept full responsibility for participating in an outdoor adventure.
